Shown me that not all humanity is cruel or mean
You believed in my dreams and stood behind them
so I wonder why one day you woke up and decided not to
You taught me how to be myself
and how to be the best that I can
but when i look to the future now I am so lost
because you are still all that I am
You listened everytime I felt down
and you did your best to lift me up
but when I tried do to the same for you
it never seemed to be enough
I saw forever when I looked into your eyes
Together I thought we would grow
but our plans and dreams can change ever so easily
The reason why I just wish I could know
