Memories keep on calling me

Keep replaying scene after scene

For once I wish I could forget

Everything about you since the day we met



The same old sad song sings its sad tune

and I still cry everynight I lie under the light of the moon

If only I could go back in time

Perhaps change the fact that you were ever mine



Days go by more in between the times we get to speak

and the logner it would be - the more I would become weak

Eventually I felt that you would not come back but you always did

Didn't you feel bad about what you put me through



So goodbye is best for us to say

Lets let go, I think it is better this way

and if we are meant to be we will find each other again

but lets say goodbye before we reach where we have already been
