You need someone to stand by you through and through
Not someone like me who
is only there when you are there too
I never meant to hurt you,
or put you through this pain
Once I loved you more than life
I wonder if I will ever again
I never meant ot hurt you
ONly wanted to see what else was out there
So when we finally settled down together
I would be prepared
I never meant to hurt you
Only wanted to give others a chance
I did not want to be tied down so far away
Unless I gave others hope for romance
I never meant ot hurt you because I still care
No-right now I cannot love you
but maybe I can one day
If I can be right there
