I am sorry for believing you were my soulmate

and to think that we were fate

Maybe it was wrong road, wrong time

but it is time we both move on, and I know we'll be fine



I am sorry for letting our love charade continue for so long

We were so foolish and naive; we were wrong

We bother met at our lowest and we lifted each other up

but for love our connection just was not strong enough



I am sorry for not listening to my friends

Who cared enough to point out the truth

They said you were just a joker

You said you loved me but you were never able to show me the proof



I am sorry for breaking your heart

It was never intentional

but in the end I couldnt handle the back and forth

and so we had to take the fall



and I am sorry for believing that you were the one

but I can't go on wishing for you to come

I must let go here and move on

We gave it a real good try; never would we have known that we were so wrong
