i think of my puzzle working friends and what it must be like to search
for hours for a piece which isn't there

That is rotten when they don't give you all the pieces or you lose a couple pieces. Then you have holes in the dogs face or holes in the flower arrangement. Of course that might inspire Picasso-esque visions so maybe there is a design.
