We sit upon orange speckled mushroom sipping the elixir

Absorbing the magical quintessence of long forbidden thoughts

 



 

Author's Notes/Comments: 

a sijo is a Korean variation on the haiku.  It is a three line poem but each line will either 14 or 16 syllables.  This is my first attempt at writing this style of poetry.  It was fashioned from a fragment of a long poem I wrote many, many moons ago.
