I give you the key to my heart. 

I would hope that you will not lost it or misplace it

If I give you the key to my heart,

 I would hope you will honor it 

And keep it safe. 

I give you the key to my heart, Would you give me the key to yours?

If I give you the key to my heart, Would you keep it safe?

I give you the key to my heart and you would give me the key to yours. 

We could open our hearts to love. 

I give you the key to my heart, 

I am trusting you to open it to love again.

I am  giving you the key to my heart.
