We were made to break.

Where's all the disco's... and the gogo's??

Soldiers still fighting for reasons that we'll never know.

There's an angel in his basement.

The devil is laughing because he can't afford the rent.

There's Cupid hanging from a noose.

These children should NEVER go without food.

Innocence speads it's legs...

But when the goat is done it always pays.

We were made to break.

When you are strange and all alone...

He wanders around with nowhere to go.

He sees tidal waves...Floods of prophecy

Like ancient scripts straight from Da Vinci

We're in the Digital Age...

Dangerous technology.

Shrouded with information we don't really need...

We were made to break.

You can probably guess how this epic will end.

When the hero of the story is on heroin.

All of his dreams go down the drain.

All of his money goes into his veins.

His brain is soft, his brown blood is cold.

His heart and soul are made of

Rock and Roll.

We were made to break.

Author's Notes/Comments:

That dark ending is for all my friends and family members who have been taken from me the past 3 years from addiction and the lifestyle that comes with it. Actually...I suppose the whole thing is kind of a dark, twisted vine, right?? Meh, it can't ALWAYS be sunny...Unless your in Philedephia.

Oh! And here is a link to this song being performed by my bandmates and I. It's rather heavy, I wrote everything piece of music but the drums...:

On of my favorite shows ever

On of my favorite shows ever on tv. (Plus I am from the metropolotan area, can well relate to the "Sunny in Philly mentality). Like the lyrics, and would listen to the music if I just didn't receive so many ads from myspace when I sign on. I'm sure it rocks!

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
