The 53 year old

jaded version of me

doesn’t do cartwheels

at concerts

or walk on my hands 

heading to the beach

but sadly,

despite growing up

and learning reality

this sullen jaded rendition

still has

 more sense of wonder

than the average bloke

walking down the street.
