Eating cheese curls

to take the edge off

of drunkenness

& not reaching

for the Portable Nietzsche

as I don’t 

desire cheesestaining

the volume

besides

at this point

my eyes are useless

well, actually,

my eyes are fine

it’s my mind’s

interpretation

of my sight

that leaves something

to be desired

we mustn’t

let the two concepts

get confused
