OPEN MOUTH, INSERT FOOT
I get tired
of having to explain myself
every time
I say something stupid
and stick my foot
in my mouth.
but I do it
again
every time.
I rectify the situation
I find some other
stupid thing to say
It’s a viscous cycle
I can’t seem to escape
Perhaps it’s fate
perhaps it’s destiny
but whatever the case
it really does suck.

My foot has been stuck in my mouth and so I cannot speak out loud.
Leg and hips kinda hurt too, being in this awkward position.
