Well, they say,

you can’t have your cake

and eat it, too.

Well, I don't know

what exactly that means

or even sure if

it’s worth the effort of knowing.

Some people talk just

 for the sake of talking

and like clever phrases

to sound intelligent.

They don’t--

but neither do I

when I waste my time

ranting about them.
