When I first saw you, I was

Moved Beyond Words

Beautifully broken, romantic and kind

So many things we shared in common

As if you were my other half; you were

Everything I had ever dreamed of...

And when we first spoke, you were

Moved Beyond Words

We wasted no time in talking to each other,

I wanted to know everything, and have you know it, too

Tears spring to my eyes as I remember

Happy days and nights, so irrevocably in love

I wrote you a poem, and you were

Moved Beyond Words

You said you could not express how it made you feel,

and I too felt the same,

that no words could express gratitude for my angel, my light

I loved you with my heart and soul

But the very next day, I was

Moved Beyond Words

As you showed me the door, I could not understand

What you meant when you said I stretched you too thin

You had said that you loved me...

Was that just a lie?

So, in the months to come, you will be

As I try my hardest to rip your heart to shreds,

Watch your life fall to shambles with the hex that I lay,

Make living a burning, fiery hell

Don't thank me, I'm just returning the favor;

after all, you did just the same for me

Now, as I stand here, I am

As I ponder why, just why,

You gave me such a small chance

You said that you loved me,

and I hate liars.
