A kiss

Folder:
Relationships/Love

Fractured perceptions of an illusioned mind

Can't see the truth and is out of time

Like the white rabbit straining in hurry

Cannot talk for everything's so blurry

Silver vines secluding the soul

A heartbeat so tender it cannot be controlled

For protection it's enveloped in thorns

But attraction slips through and love is still born

Romantic, poetic - A single white rose

Knowing the pen can conquer any foe

A rythmic melody when two lips meet

Is greater than any other wondrous feat.

"Romantic, poetic - A single white rose"

I liked that line.
I like this poem, as well. You're right, a good kiss is always remembered... Sometimes a first kiss, as well.
