Look down on me a bit more and see where it gets you.
You're just like the other heretics,
godless and cruel.
Perhaps if you cease this cyclical denial
of Darwinism,
you'd realize that I refuse to loathe
those that turn away friendship to avoid personal torment.
I know you let her in and it affected you.
How could it not?
I simply favor the prospect of letting go.
Then again, I've only been to hell and back in
four years time, so I may be speaking from
observational experience,
with no pain of my own to provide you empathy.
