to boys breaking my heart
she always soothed the tears
her touch so gentle
who could resist her love
she was a good mother to us
when I started fighting
she never gave up on me
I always knew right from wrong
she taught me what she could
now she's gone
it hurts that she left
I was the last in the nest
I felt abandoned
she was my mother
my best of friend
forever remaining in my heart
