Wind Wisdom

Folder:
old poems

Here I stand, all alone
Out by a stream in nowhere
Can you explain what can't be seen?
Even time freezes in the summer air
The wind will not even whisper
A word of good cheer
It just drifts on through the trees
Never looking back
The silence does naught
to silence my mind's murmurs
"Can it be wrong to be right?
Is there a time for us to cry?
What are we doing here?
Are we just winning pain?"
How can I tell you what I do not know?
I look around for an answer
As the wind rustles leaves
A wisp of wisdom passes
I follow
Never looking back
