have you ever been someone

you never wanted to become

have you ever breathed in someone else's air

cause when you were out of breath it was there

have you ever felt someone else's pain

and drowned in someone else's shame

have you ever hurt so bad

that it destroyed all you had

sorrow came to you as an uninvited guest

walked right in and put you to the test

and then before you knew it you were so depressed

you play the game and roll the dice

your talking to yourself to ease your mind

but on the inside there is hurt so deep
