when you were crying bitter tears

when you were drowning in your fears

I was there to hold you



when you were lonely and no one was around

when you were falling onto the solid ground

I was there to hold you



when you lost every single close friend

when the pain inside refused to end

I was there to hold you



when fighting was all around your life

and you wanted to just pick up that knife

I was there to hold you



when you were in pain, agony that wouldn't go away

and all you could do was get on your knees and pray

I was there to hold you



when that day came that I had to prove my love for you

I bled as I was beat and hurt, did whatever I had to do

I was there, my child, to die for you

and I am here no matter what to hold you
