there was never a cure for my pain

never anything around to keep me sane

there was never a reason for me to keep breathing

there was never anything to keep my from dying

and never anything to stop me from crying



and now I have a reason to open my eyes each day

you came into my life and melted all my pain away

and I love you more than all the stars in the sky multiplied by one billion

you gave me a sort of happiness that lingers till the end

you are more than my lover, you are my very best friend



you are the sunshine that shines the sun in my sky

you are the tears of happiness that I sometimes cry

you are the heart that beats and keeps me alive each and every day

you are the smile on my face and the happiness that lives inside

with you I have no fears, no pain, nothing that I have to hide

I love you so much, I love you more than I could ever describe
