Broken Ideolodies

I pretend to be a writer

But these ideas are not mine

They’re ideologies passed down

Along this idea line

The people that surround me

Have no diversity

In a university

Of broken ideology

The reason that I’m writing this

Is not to make myself

Sound like a superior

But just that- myself

I am not a robot

That takes what I’ve been told

And goes throughout my life

And believes it until I’m old

Novice Poet

Welcome to the site. For new poet, this poem is woven with unpretentious our overly loud rhymes. A plus. Most new poets sound like nursery rhymes - a lot of old ones do as well, but mellow tones are a forte for you as a writer. Each line and invitation to read more. No clay, no clouds, just down to earth - allets -

.

ps: I have written a number of prose pieces on writing poetry.
