Poem to end all poems
I don’t believe like a Buddhist. I believe like a Christian. I don’t believe in Muhammad or Ghandi or President Lincoln or president Trump. Or the poets and know it all college students protesting war. I don’t believe like the folk singers and bar room hoppers and the biker gangs. I’m not a mason and I’m not a junky. Not anymore at least. I’ve jumped on trains and fell over fences. I’ve seen death and dope and Satan himself in the eyes of my mother. I’ve ran from Holy relics and dined in cafes because of paranoia. I’ve traded blows with the best of em in jail cells and won honeybuns in chess matches. I’ve typed my teens away. I’ve fried my brain with mushrooms and mental hospitals. I’ve given two queens in my shoes to two assholes that beat me up over a nickel. I’m still here and I don’t follow any of them and they all ain’t got nothing on the Saints of Christ. I follow Christ because that’s what they did. Rock n roll can have its river. I want the narrow path, I keep getting side tracked and lost in the bushes. My Cross keeps falling over and I can’t pick it up. I think of Christ and continue. I can see the catacombs of Rome and the meat on their bones. I can see their prayers in golden bowls. Where are the Saints? They are weeping in prayer and why? “Moses take off your shoes, it’s sacred ground” the bush is on fire but it ain’t burning. I repent for it all. On this narrow path I’ll stumble and may even fall. But continue with blood and death being certain but life is everlasting. I asked him why he went through it and knew it was for me. On the surface the devil is fun. Dig a little deeper and you’ll see the depths of Satan.

Just a side note.
Mainly, I want to say that when you find good medicine in life, keep taking it. It sounds like you have found your good medicine, your well-lit passage through the woods, half way through a feverish, winding search over unforgiving terrain.
Here in the west we don't
Here in the west we don't know what it means to die to the world.

If you think you can pin down
If you think you can pin down God with a pea brain you are deadly mistaken. Sounds like you are having some theological issues. "Moses this is sacred ground take off your shoes" this is how we should approach God. When he lights us up we don't burn we illuminate. The Bush was on fire but it wasn't burnt. The enemy has a spirit as well it's Antichrist.

I realize you aren't
I realize you aren't disrespecting the Savior by calling him a "know it all". But, I can tell you this. The world will bow at his feet. Judgement day is coming.
I know it. I'm terrified. he's opened my eyes to it all. America is Sodom. We were founded by occultists. Pornography is nothing major. Drugs and death and murder. Corruption in the highest and lowest levels of society. Nobody picks up their Cross and dies to this world of sin.

The porblem with so much of
The porblem with so much of Christendom today, especially in America, is that we want to preach judgement rather than present salvation. And judgement is the sole privilege of Christ, not of His servants. Matthew 7:1 specifically forbids judgement---and yet that is what your words seem to be doing. We who believe are called to proclaim the Gospel---the Gospel of Salvation, not of condemnation. The condemnation will be administered by an Authority far more competent, and far more fair, than either you or I could ever be.

The real issue is you are a humanist that thinks you are a Christian. Heretics are without Grace. That's not saying they can't repent. but, what do you think happens to a heretic at death? Do we all go to heaven miss? Even the ones that don't confess Christ?

You gonna tell me God isn't come to judge the sinners? Of course he came to save us but if people don't believe in Hell or the Church or the saints and think that God is gonna be happy they didn't dig a little deeper and find out what the church was doing when the Biblical canon was being formed. The west has develped out of lawlessness. Now, where in the scriptures does it say we shouldnt renounce the ways of the world? My Bible and the Saints tell me exactly the opposite of what you have said. They tell me to renounce the world and all its ways and pick up my Cross and die to the world of sin and materialistic desires. if that's a lie show me. Martin Luther helped cause the Holocaust with his anti semetic interpretations of the scriptures. Now, are you gonna tell me Hinduism or Buddhism or any of these other religions are the way to the Father? Or is using heroin good? Or is having a secular mindset a good thing? I have to know what's been influenced by Satan. I'm not here acting like I have all the answers. I'm the chief of sinners as Saint Paul said. I know what sin does to a man's soul. Until I let the passions die I didn't recieve any peace.

I do have a judgement of the world around me. It's I don't think like you, I think like the Saints. I am a sinner and I've been everything I'm "judging" here in this poem. I'm telling people these paths are all a dead end and Christ is the way. If you have a problem with that. I'll pray for you. I'm not the Savior of the human race and I'm not a preacher. I write poems every year or so. Sorry every time I post anything you feel the need to put your nose in it. Maybe if you focused on yourself and got off this website you'd know a real Christian dies to the world and picks up his cross and turns away from sin. I'm not the judge. JUDGEMENT IS COMING and HE HAS ONE CHURCH. Now, since western culture isn't taught about the Saints they don't know what's up from down. We have 2000 years of patristic wisdom at our finger tips. You can have infalliblity with the pope and be all ecumenical with the world religions. This is Antichrist in nature. We have no excuse for not asking the right questions. Thankfully God doesn't think like men. Anyways, go write your poems and I'll write mine. Christ is Risen!
