Living Fire

The burning rush flowing endlessly through my veins

Better then any drug or the finest wine ever tasted

An anger so rich it supplys me simply with the high

Fist clenched so tightly, knuckles are constricted and white.

Shattering any resolve you have left, you step forward

You're so sick and tired of being the one sitting in the corner

Gritting your teeth, tasting the metallic essence upon your tongue

Holding yourself back; you can't control the burning rush.

You want to see me burn; I am living fire

Lashing at you with the more violent desire

A desire to see the red rivers flow forever

Leaving you in the midst of the most distorted hunger.

That you are, m'dear. A burning fire of talent in words and song. Amazing, truly amazing. I love how you describe the fire within you -- it truly is there.
