My Brother´s Camera

I remember the day he bought the camera it was standing there in a garage sale, my brother was very happy with the camera it was an analog camera that uses a camera roll. Since the day he bought it he started to take pictures to almost everything he saw the problem was that the roll always ended up full. When he revealed the photos he always invited me to see the photos some were good and others were really bad but he didn’t care too much, capturing the moment was the special thing. He always wanted me to take me pictures but I really didn’t like to be photographed. One day my brother and I went for a walk in the park near our house he took some pictures of the people playing very happy as if there were no tomorrow. The branches of the trees were moving very strongly, because of the wind all the brown leaves were falling in a rhythmic harmony reaching the floor very softly. When the photos were revealed we saw a strange thing leaning in the tree like a little guy looking to the camera very firmly, we were very surprised to see it. I don’t remember what happened to that photo but I hope I can find it someday. Our father told us that he once also took a photo in some woods in Arcata California in the U.S while he was studying abroad high school. He took a picture of a little girl with her cat and at a distance there was like a little dwarf of snow white sitting at the edge of a wood fence with white beard a blue pointy hat and black pants my dad told us that he didn’t realized that there was something in there while he was taking the picture. He still wonders what that was. I really don’t believe in paranormal things or ghosts but the dwarf can be seen very clearly. Taking pictures for my brother is like a hobby but every time I see that old camera it takes me back in time when we just chill out and relax. He still takes pictures but with a digital camera. I don’t think it will never be the same anymore it was always exciting to wait for the photos and look up for surprises. The essence of life captured in the lens of that camera will not be forgotten and the moments experienced neither.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
