It's just commotion

I separate myself from what's going on

I see handwriting and know it's mine

But it's a plan of attack

To stab with the pen

To try to write legibly

The reflection of a mirror shows that

I've still got time to go

No one knows I'm here

But I'm the most important person in the universe

I drag out breaths so they can breathe

I'm looking through glass eyes onto clear liquid paper

Nothing's going on, it's all just happening
