Bloodless Despair of Love

Separated by divine intervention,

I remember your soft skin against mine,

Lost in the void of my mind as I remember,

Quivering at your grave stone in silence,

Knowing you are here, still feeling so far away,

Delivering my love in the form of roses,

I shed my tears in the stillness of the night,

The moonlight showing the shadow of my being,

Flashing back to that horrific night,

Remembering your words of joy before it happened,

"Our love is just, and will be true,

Less a jealous heaven intervenes."

Screaming now into the heavens,

"Come back to me my love,

I was born to be with you,

So why let fait come between?!"

Sobbing for the loss of life in my mind,

Arms torn to shreds with jealousy's vengeance,

I jab the dagger of my valor into my chest,

Slowly falling on top of my love,

Holding her in peace and serenity,

As eternity passes us,

Our care to each other becomes much stronger,

Stronger than any God or being will ever know,

For our souls were meant to be a whole,

Inner-twining in harmony.
