Dancing in the Moonlight

Over here, underneath the moon,

In a magenta night that hums too soon,

We move as one, as if we might

Be lost and carefree throughout the night.

Laughter lingers, soft and bright,

An echo drifting through silver light;

No words are needed, none are spoken,

Yet something deep remains unbroken.

No weight of gold, no need for measure,

This fleeting hour outshines all treasure;

In quiet steps and hearts in flight,

Like dancing in the moonlight.

Author's Notes/Comments:
