WITH MYSELF

Change in days,

Winter heralds Spring,

With whom should I share my joys?

Drink beckons,

In the hotel room,

I debate good and evil.

Just a smile,

Of pure earnestness,

What else does this sad heart want!

Lovely face,

Rekindles embers,

Of a warm fire by the hearth.

What to say,

With whom to discuss,

This sorry scheme of things entire!

Lovely! Just Lovely! This reads to me as simply a mere heart looking for a home! So few words yet so many readers of it I am certain can so easily relate. Hail to the beauty of the poet's ability to convey something just such as this.
Envy she would be abound if she but had eyes herself to read! you know who.............lol so why type it?
