Your soul's familiar friend

Folder-2004

If you are my soul's familiar friend

My words aren't passing without remark

When you think you’re all alone in the dark

Troubled by who arrives and who departs

Sadden by the emptiness once was filled

And now seems like a vacant place

When you devoted your heart for love

Why worry about the unfilled space?

When you think you’re imprisoned behind the walls

Everywhere you go seems like a closed door

When love breath in the Heart

And the Heart is the Gate to the soul

When you hold the Key

Why worry about the locked doors?

When you feel the weeds of self-doubts

Growing strong in the garden of your mind

Questioning the meaning of your prolonged trip

Longing to reach the far away Reality-Shore

Drained from sailing in your dream boat

When patience and hope are your means for transport

Why worry about reaching the seaport?

When you speak to me of your fear

Your heart streaming unseen tear

I say, " Don’t be afraid my dear

I am your family, your kin who’s near, "

Your silent words I hear

When this tone is familiar to your ear

The meaning becomes so clear

Recognizing your own relative's voice

Your soul's familiar friend

The truthful of this friendship

Awakens the heart with delight

This pleasure bears witness, rightly prove

Binding the souls in silken thread, hard to remove
