I wait

yet here am I,

cold in this cement floor,

not wanting to discontinue

the energy of the lights,

am afraid something

would creep from behind,

may be stuck with 5 walls,

ceiling your mind,

I would be joyful

if I may be your rays of light,

keep you company

when darkness falls,

admiring a beautiful angel

honoring my eyes

with a such delight

of having you next to my side,

don’t fear the night,

lets turn your fears

to a great delight,

as I see you on sight,

I lose my mind,

my voice tries to run,

next to you my heart stops,

you control my life,

the beat of my heart,

uttering vacancy

within your walls,

ill knock on your door,

say a quick hello,

give a friendly hand shake,

preferring a hug,

ill sit next to you

in this place, holding your hand,

ill turn the lights,

is ok don’t be afraid,

ill guard you night and day,

if you may choose to simply wait,

I can carve a window in this place,

sitting down I can wait,

seeing the heavens and its delight,

no knowledge of the time,

a star can grow and become a planet,

yet if it takes as much,

I can wait for your kiss and hug,

till a vacant sky grows with infinite stars
