As if it was yesterday

As if it was yesterday,

my ear drums still vibrating

from the thundering mimic of rain,

solid water

shattering from the passenger side

of the transportation that I occupied,

sound waves of nothing,

vacancy, loneliness,

as a tornado with its loud outburst,

destruction, chaos,

then in the end silent,

not a voice or sound,

as if it was yesterday,

pondering the origins of some sounds,

after the storm had passed,

recognizing its tone,

its my own,

help me I am dazed,

no hand to grasp,

no help at all,

are you ok,

because I seem to be fine,

yet no response,

mind twirling as a marry go round,

odor of death,

burned powder,

stench of the odor

introduce to the nostrils

as we pass the slander house,

opening the door to aid you,

yet you decent to the concrete floor,

you lay I watch,

you stared, I cried,

as if it was yesterday,

with my arms holding a vacant corpse,

your soul departed,

never question our blood type

yet you showed me,

lonely night,

cold,

shivering from the weather or fright??,

only the red fluid surrounded us as a human crowd,

a circle form,

asking, begging, wanting, wishing,

to wake up,

a nightmare it never was,

without a thesaurus

experience the various words for pain,

heart in million pieces,

salted water form my eyes flowing,

voice departing from the screams and cries,

in my hands I saw you depart,

as if it was yesterday,

my mind corrupted with crime,

mind instructed to kill,

conscience turn to revenge,

heart with amnesia gently went to sleep,

veins injected with venom,

lunatic ready to explode,

soul turned to darkness,

heaven never in mind or thought,

as If it was yesterday,

my eyes locked to yours,

many words said yet nothing I could hear,

as I wash my hands to purify a scar,

forever they are stained,

every dia de los muertos take tequila to your grave,

as if it was yesterday,

heart grows cold,

skating ring my heart transforms,

veins ready to exploded as a volcano ready to erupt,

mind ready to avenge,

you lay in my arms,

I kneel to the floor,

you left me alone,

but I know

I have you marked on my soul,

I know I am not spiritually alone,

cause I have you

to guard me from the harsh punches of mother earth
