Learning Just to Fly

The memories never cease to seep in like a disease, I need to break this routine throwing memories and feelings on my wings like they were gasoline, watch the flames go higher, throw another dream, another try at flight into the fire

The war inside, through the darkest darkness in me I'm to far for your light, like life, feels like the reckless side, its a war for who can be free, I'm to far inside playing war with the two of me, these wings are all I have

I've went to far just to let this go, let this be, I've went to far, to far away from me, tangled tongues and broken wings, I've went to far not to try, I've went to far, it's fall or fly and I've went to far to turn back now, it's try or die and I've come this far, the dream's never cease to get farther, wear your failure like a scar, wear your heart like a star because the weight never ceases to get harder
