The light in her eyes

pumps raw emotions straight through my veins



her slightest movement

sets all my senses on high alert



and yet she smiles

and the world melts away



I try to remember what made my day so bad but



It's gone



And in its place

I have found something all the better



A warmth exudes from my chest

A grin creeps at the corner of my lips

A stampede of goosebumps parades down my neck

A feeling of bliss washes over me



And I fall



Harder than ever before.

And I can't nor do I want to stop it



I put my hands to my sides and shoot straight forward

Running off the fuel of my love

Flying straight into the brilliance



that is my heart



which has found a keeper

for all time
