Payday

Every dog has its day ‘’they say’’

Every person on this earth has a price to pay

For your sins, and your evil

You too will receive your earthly bill

Everything changes

Hatred to praises

Love, loyalty, people, water, seasons

And all for different reasons

Nothing ever remains the same

Everything changes on payday

You give and give and give endlessly

And he takes and takes and demands even more heartlessly

Without a kind thank you

Not even a financial gift to you

Even loyalty has its limits

As does love and compassion at times, calls it quits

You use and abuse

Appreciate nothing, all you do is misuse

Nothing ever remains the same

Everything changes on payday

You live in dream world too

Believing that you’re a God and your followers will never leave you

If you don’t love, care and feed your animals

They too will turn against you and run for the hills

Your payday has come

It is time for me to move on

I will no longer be stamped upon, used and abused

I too have a limit against being used

Nothing ever remains the same

Everything changes on payday

And your time has come, to pay for years of abuse

Farewell I say, I will no longer be your muse

I will no longer sweat and slave for a possible raise

I will no longer starve for a hopeful praise

I have given my all

I stand proud today, knowing that I will not fall

In God’s hands i will jump and fly

Reach the skies till the day I die

One thing is for certain

This Payday will be your burden

Nothing  ever remains the same

Everything changes on payday
