Emotions are blue

Emotions are blue

Emotions aren’t real

Electronic impulses are why we feel

That pain in your heart

From your brain it did start

Keep telling yourself this

And life will be bliss

Deceived, not thinking

Allowing the sinking

Of morals and defenses

Lost are your senses

Stripped of pretenses

What is this emotion

Is it just another notion

Love or lust

Should or must

Feeling the thrust

The desire brought on by trust

Inside about to combust

You’ve been used

Abused, you’re confused

Feeling bruised

Thought you were mused

You were rused

Left alone

Feeling you must atone

Should have known

Nothing after the last groan

Why would they want you

Just another screw

Nothing new

Emotions are blue

I wrote this poem a few weeks ago, I wrote it when I was feeling a little down after a one night stand

I can feel your pain through this poem, and it says so much about what you're feeling. For me, I've never had a one night stand, and I don't think that I'd like to plan on having one, but hey, only time will tell when I do have it. You feel like you're just being used for the sexual pleasures of what other guys may want out of you, and that may be sexually pleasurable for a while as it lasts, but after when it's all done, it could be like, "What the hell?" I don't think that I'm being accurate on what I'm saying here in this critique, but at least it's what I think.

Appears melancholic if you ask me but nonetheless, great write! Thanx for sharing...
