Through wavering eyes
I see everything move
While it all stands still
And I realize how little
I understand for if a
Equals b plus c then
A minus c should equal
B but it's not adding up
Something's missing or I'm
Missing something as I
Count the endless variables
Thinking how to make it
All balance and the answer
Feels to distant for my
Finite mind to grasp
And with patient frustration
I start from the top
Knowing I never was
Any good at math
