Poem for my teacher- Mr. Homan

Folder:
School

He was a comical character of sorts,

Old and young at the same time.

He coached young children in math and in sports,

He taught them the worth of an actual dime.

He showed them rate conversions galore

Algebraic concepts, too

He told them what he was before

Before he met us few.

They laughed at him, they teased him

About how he drove a bus

And no matter how chances seemed slim

He was always one of us.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I kinda owe a big thank you to Mr. Homan- without him I would've failed math completely.
