Rearranged Dreams

Reality reminds me more each day

Even as I write your memory with me stays

Agony of shattered dreams remain always

Remembering our love pass’ the hours away

Rearranged dreams of me and of you

Accepted the fact that my world is blue

Never will my love fade this is true

Gone away but not forgotten

Every night I

Dream of you

Dreaming we are together

Renewing our hearts spoken vow

Each night I hold you with me there

Arranging us together even now

Memories of our love beckon to me

Sadly I awaken; seems dreams are stronger than reality

GOOD PIECE

Deborah Russell's picture

This is a good title, and a hopeful message to dreamers who have lost a beloved. We all rearrange dreams in an ever changing realm of awareness. I used this term in describing the death of my grandmother. "folding them neatly and tucking them deep into a dresser"...something like that.
