A Lesson on Unconditional Love

Folder:
A Story to Live By

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate his house, a man in Japan tore open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built.
What happened?
The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!
In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling.
Then he wondered how this lizard survived for all this time without moving a single step since its foot was nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what had it been doing, and what had it been eating.
Later strangely, appears another lizard out from nowhere, with food in its mouth.
Ah! The man was stunned and touched deeply.
For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years...
Tears welled up in the man's eyes, he set the nailed lizard free.

Such Love, such beautiful unconditional love is True.
Even a tiny creature like this can show love and care.
It is a wonder what Love can do.
For a tiresome 10 years, the lizard had cared without giving hope on its friend.

"It's your unlimited power to care and to love that can make the biggest difference
in the quality of your life."~ Anthony Robins

May we all grow in the light of Real Love & Unconditional Compassion
