I was perfectly fine

Then you went and crossed the line

Had to go and start another fight again

Thinking that I might give in

Give in and run in fright

Scared to death of you

You act as if you have to prove

That your better then everyone

The best fighter of them all

That's what you pretend you are

That you have never lost a fight

How you win every single brawl

Knowing there are better out there

Eager to destroy

And finally end this legend for good

To begin a whole new story

As you being to make me worry

That this war with myself will never end

Keep thinking to myself

Just try to stay and defend

Eventually he'll give in

But he goes on

And continues to say that he's the best

That there is no one better

That he has beating all the rest

That there is no test too hard

No yard to big

That he'll take over anything

That he'll take anyone out

No one is as strong

But there is a war he can't win

That's the war against himself

For he has equal or greater power

He knows this dark side well

He knows how to kill this monster

The side he'll never show

Until this monster confronts itself

It will always reign supreme

Until it finds something more

That's love forever more

Only then will his strength be used for good

And have a clear reflection shown
