My Drowning

Save me from my drowning. Im sinking into the blue. You seen me frowning yet you didnt have a clue. Im disappearing into my own tears. Fadeing into the wind that carries my sorrow. Looking ahead in life knowing the end nears. This life becomes smaller with every step onto this path I follow. Soon it shall become nothing more than my fatal existence I once walked alone. Where I took each step towards you as you would always take a step back. I've learned you must keep the past in the past and the future awaiting to be shown. Where we are now though has that to lack. How could I let this so easily slip away? The pain you made me feel when I told you I loved you. You turned your back to me and walked your own way. My heart was crushed and broken in two. So where you left me I drowned in my tears and faded away just to keep the pain aside. Now I dream in my eternal sleep. A broken heart is why I died. For that I cry in an eternal weep.

I like the romantic view of this piece, there are so many few poems like these.
