So much

 

...and I bet you can

 

 

 

I give up so much

 

So much

 

I get nothing in return

 

Nothing

 

I am willing to give you the world

 

All I get is pain

 

Pain

 

I am so tired of all this hurt

 

I cannot take it any longer

 

Hurt

 

I need more than just a man

 

I need everlasting love

 

Man

 

Where is this all going?

 

Do you hear my heart beat?

 

Do you even care?

 

My world is turning upside down

 

My face shows the pain

 

Yet, again I am being pushed to the edge

 

Can I escape?

I wrote this for a friend that is going to through a though time right now.

I hope your friend makes it through her pain and finds inner peace. Your poem was so full of pain it was pain to read but a good poem.
