oh to feel the gentle touch of the mountain night sky 
once again as the moonlight begins to appear covering 
the ground in a silver blanket effortlessly slicing through the darkness
the smell of pines in the air as aspen leaves dance in the midnight breeze 
something in a peaceful mountain night always seems to stir my emotions
laying to rest the demons if for only for a moment
