because the world is not a fairytale
raw passion knows no doctrines
It's dirty raw an uncut
It starts with a simple hello
the connection of two looks across the floor
leading to the reminiscent of times past
and tears to flow 
love in Its absence leaves me wondering,
through all of these hardships
what is it we have gained
the loss in essence is truly captured best
as a snowflake caught in a spiderweb
nothing more than beauty-in-passing
It's so much easier to see the world in a childlike eyes 
emotions don't boil within and anything can be fixed with an apology and a promise to not do it again
pain being scraped knees 
not broken hearts 
everything comes with a do over 
 in the world in childlike eyes
