you remember that time that you hit me

and then looked at me with tears in your eyes

and it seemed to me that you were truly sorry

but the next day... there you go again

and i kept forgiving you cuz what else could i do

as everyone always says, seeing is believing

but i should never have believed your false tears

and all your empty promises that made my heart skip a beat

cuz there i was trying to keep you in my life

trying to hold us together cuz you were my life

and there you were, running around behind my back

and when you were around, you were telling me to my face

how much you hated me, and how ashamed you were of me,

that being with me was the biggest mistake of your life,

and that you wished you had never met me

well i'm leaving now, where i'm going i can't come back

i hope you're happy now, i hope your life is better

i hope you miss me and regret what you have done

feel the hate, feel the shame, feel the pain i felt.
