Somewhere along the course of time
We lost each other
I lost my mind
We told each other everything
I knew I could count on you
Then as if what we had
Had never been
Everything changed
Seemed too busy to talk
To busy to listen
Then the fights
About nothing
About everything
I tried to be there for you
But felt ignored
Like you’d kicked me out
And slammed the door
Everything was different
If we talked
We couldn’t be ourselves
I know you think I’m jealous
And I must admit, I am
But I’m happy for you
That’s all I care about
That’s all I ever cared about
But maybe
In losing each other
We will find each other
