Chapter Ten
'The Forsaken or Forgotten'

I want you to see,
A world that is divided
freedom now pirated.
Sanity slowly retreating,
to the back of our minds.
BEHOLD,
look at the treasures he finds.
Death there waiting
the Reaper is ready.

Do you not see the world burning?
Ashes in the wind turning.
All the violence, a wasted brilliance.
With madness in every direction
I can see the complex equation
Where sanity is no longer in question.

I want you to see,
The smoke behind the mirror
Truth behind fear.
A slave to the monster,
that has became ourselves
and behold,
Hear the tolling of the bells
and the whisper of death waiting
The Reaper always willing.

“From behind empty faces, dead places
We are the forsaken, the long forgotten.”

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I first off want to say I have been battleing the ever feared and dreaded writers block now for the last couple of weeks, So I'd like to present a little tease in the next series of ThoughtShock..
