Couldn`t hang the phone up, with this conscience of mine.

And i may lie.

But before you go please tell me this-

Am i who you thought i`d be?

Because living up to expectations never was me.

I`ll grab this new lease of life.



But these words weren`t in my head,

or in my soul.

It`s you, wearing my shoes, you`ve nothing to lose.

So i`ll walk alone.



Only done half a job since we started here,

But it`s a similar day.

Heroes welcomes aren`t that common,

But what do you want me to say this time?

Living under your shadow all my life.

I`ll turn this smoke into fire.
