You're the inspiration

in my life,

I read my poetry to you

and you let me know

things I should change

to make my writing better.



My inspiration

comes from you

you give me the will

to write every day,

I thank you

for the inspiration

you have given to me.



You blessed me with

three beautiful children

and things they do

make me giggle,

I rush to write

a few things down,

to keep the moment

frozen in time.



You're my inspiration,

I thank you

from the bottom

of my heart.
