The Dancing Black Fox

After she had vanished Alfred waited for the Dancing girl for five long months but, one day when the sun was still high he sat on the balcony staring at the water licking the sand when a small black fox was sitting in a lone tree at the waters edge. It looked like a silhouette compared to the bright daylight and colored world he lived in. the fox felt very out of place it's darkness was never seen by light drawn eyes. It knew very well it did not belong but the man was such an intriguing thing. being so bright and colorful, it was nearly against her world law to look his kind in the eyes. by now though the sun was giving it's last light and the night brought on her form. the fox now encased in a bright yellow liquid emerged before Alfred as a dancing girl, hair like a comets tail, she was whimsical and reckless as before, he found himself humming a tune  as he gawked at her dance.. and then she stopped the wind whipped about her short locks as she stood dormant. she faced the rising moon her body was jerked upward suddenly as she was again encased in light but silver and softer in glow. when the light left there by the lakeside lied a boy. his hair black eyes dark and nearly life-less but he was cute for a boy. suddenly Alfred was on his back with this boy sitting on his pelvis, he was about to yell when the boy spoke " what did you see?! "
the urgency in his voice shocked Alfred and again the boy interrupted his attempt to speak " You mustn't whisper a word of what you saw. surely the high council will kill me if they knew!"
he seemed desperate so Alfred gave a simple nod and crossed his heart in promise, the boy didn't smile or show any sign of trust in Alfred until he suddenly felt a hand lay over where his heart was and the boy stared at his hand and began to wept silent tears before speaking softly
"so this is what a heartbeat is like.."
suddenly the boy jumped up he glared at the door behind Al and vanished over the edge and ran into the dark wood forest ducking into the underbrush as the sun rose to kiss the world.

I just met a woman/man, about an hour ago, named fox. Couldn't tell the sex. Anyway.. Fox read my palm tonight. I promised her/him I'd bring by a fox poem I'd written a couple of years ago. Then, I Was just going to start a new poem about fox, when I saw your words jump off the page at me. I just love synchonicity.... Glad you posted this. It was a fun read for me at the perfect time. It's interesting to me, often times, I come to this site and see a perfect reflection of what's going on with me before I even say a word. Anyways.. blah blah blah. Enjoyed your words. :)
